About the Author
Jimmy Stewart is 33 years old and resides in Trenton, Ontario, Canada. He has four young children, ages 3 to 10. Jimmy is a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces as a Search and Rescue Technician (What is a SAR Tech?). Having just recently changed professions, the remainder of his 15 year military career was spent in Special Operations. As a veteran Special Forces Operator (What is a SF Operator?) Jimmy deployed numerous times to the middle east, northern Africa, western Africa, and the southern Caribbean.
During these periods he observed the cultural varieties from vastly different populations and the medical care systems they had in place. Acquiring an interest in medicine at this point, it influenced his decision for a career change into becoming a SAR Tech and also completing the Primary Care Paramedic program offered by the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC).
He is currently a 3rd year Health Sciences student Queens University with the goal of achieving a BHSc.
